Loose teeth!
A couple of months ago, Petra noticed her first loose tooth. She was hesitant to wiggle eat (or eat anything crunchy!) because she didn't want to hurt it. The new tooth was pushing its way in, so we encouraged her to keep on wiggling, and finally she let Steve give it a little tug.
She was pretty excited when that first one came out!
Two days later, the next one came out, and a week later, a third. Now she has a wiggly top tooth too!

Way to go, Petra! And has your hair darkened or was that just a camera setting?
I’m happy to know that Petra was very positive about her first loose tooth. No tears at all! The smile on her face is enough assurance that she is indeed a brave girl. For some, it might be scary, so parents need to explain that losing teeth is part of growing up. Anyway, you did a great job, Petra!
