Before I get to some Christmas and New Years' highlights, here's a little post about Elijah. Last week he was 4 months old. This past month has been a fun one, with him getting so interested in what we're up to, watching the girls intently and laughing at all the action.
One new discovery for Elijah was his toes, which he found just before Christmas. Now he loves to play with them, especially at diaper changing time. They haven't made it into his mouth let, but I'm sure that's coming soon.
The not-so-fun development for Elijah has been difficulty getting to sleep. This boy loves to be rocked and cuddled, but doesn't enjoy falling asleep or staying asleep by himself in the crib. I've spent a lot of time in the rocking chair. And although that can be frustrating for me (or for the other kids who want my attention), I do enjoy these snuggles - his little face nestled up against my neck. I tried to get a picture, but it was hard to hold him and take the picture from a good angle, so this was the best I got:
